Client Service Representative
Compensation: DOE
Employment type: Full-time/Part-time
You will be working with a small, close-knit team who treat each other like family. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and who is willing to help other team members out at a moment’s notice.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting clients and patients with an enthusiastic and warm environment while providing professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times
- Superior relationship building skills. Can you remember details that clients share with you so you can ask the next time they are in?
- Great attitude while working with team members, willingness to jump in and help at all times
- Creating and maintaining a clean, neat, and inviting reception area for clients and patients
- Assisting with client’s needs before and after appointment
- Responsible for reception duties such as answering and managing phone calls, making appointments, incoming and outgoing patients
- Accurately entering charges on client invoices
- Perform patient follow up calls, update clients on hospitalized patient status
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with computers, email, and applications like Microsoft Office
- Cashier duties including reconcile cash drawer daily (opening and closing processes)
- Educating clients on patient care
- Tolerance for stress resiliency
- Effectively route the flow of the day to maximize efficiency of the veterinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills between veterinary team and clients
- Must be willing to train with veterinary technicians to learn basic technical skills such as restraint, performing laboratory duties, etc.
Adhere to OSHA standards and regulations - Conduct additional administrative duties as delegated by practice manager and principal doctor
Special Requirements:
- Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift minimum of 30lbs
- Must be able to adapt to work environment to include pace of the day, pet waste, noise
- Must be able to work up to 11 hour shifts
- Must be available for work 7 days a week
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Be able to work at computer station for extended periods of time
- Employee is routinely exposed to a variety of pets that may bite or scratch, and on occasion, exposed to anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards and medication/controlled substances.

Veterinary Assistant Intern Program
Compensation: Start at $13.50
Employment type: Full-time
Have you always wanted to work with Animals but never had the opportunity? Have you thought about going to school to be a veterinary assistant or technician? Why pay tuition to get the training you want when we will train you WHILE getting paid!
This training program is only for exceptionally motivated candidates. Candidates should be prepared to train at work and study outside of work daily. Candidates will submit weekly self graded quizzes and take a graded final exam. Candidates Must be willing to not take their earned leave (leave will still accrue) for the first 8 months of the program. Excluding Sick leave and approved Holidays.
The program details:
- Full Time Starting at 13.50/hr
- 50 cent raise with Successful completion of each quarter (3 month period) of training.
- Guaranteed 15/hr at the end of 8 month training cycle, regular staff raises there after.
- Retention bonus of 500$ @3mo
- Retention bonus of 1000$ @8mo, with successful completion of training and passing final exam.
